What are your exclusive psychiatric services?

Dr. Gordon only schedules one patient per appointment time. She will schedule as much time as needed for any particular patient. This structure allows Dr. Gordon to start and finish appointments as scheduled.

What is your availability?

Dr. Gordon returns phone calls within 24 hours. She strives to have flexible office hours to facilitate your ongoing treatment and to provide availability for urgent sessions as need.

Privacy & Confidentiality:

No information from your treatment will be discussed with any third party unless the patient and Dr. Gordon decide it is useful.

Responsiveness:

Dr. Gordon provides additional psychiatry services such as emergency and weekend calls to pharmacies and prompt coordination of care.

Why do you charge for missed sessions?

Since Dr. Gordon only schedules one person per appointment time, that time slot is effectively closed once an appointment is made, and is no longer available to anyone else. Cancellations must be made 49 hours or more in advance to avoid being charged for the appointment.

What can I expect during my first appointment?

Dr. Gordon is interested in getting to know each patient individually so that she can understand their unique concerns and how these problems are currently affecting their lives. Once this process is accomplished, a treatment plan through mutual collaboration between Doctor and Patient will be recommended and established.

How long does treatment take?

The length of treatment is highly variable. It depends upon the nature of the presenting issues and the patient's goals for treatment.
